Since I've finished college in December, I've been studious with my photography. Bambi Cantrell, named one of the top 10 wedding photographers of the world by American Photo Magazine, had a workshop 2 weeks ago in my area. Not only was Bambi an amazing woman, but she's vastly talented in the photography field. I felt so blessed to have learned from her for 3 days. Her instruction has defiantly changed my perspective. My work has increased in quality in just a few days. I'm praying I'll save up enough money soon to participate in a one on one workshop with Bambi in California come fall 2009.

I finally finished my Senior year as a college student. At the moment I'm elated, scared, and invigorated. There's so much to do and so many plans I have to make now that I have free time again!

I'm done but I have to wait until May to walk! Eek!

I'm loving my new apartment with my roomie. So far things have been stellar. I finally feel confident being in control of my life. Every day is a new experience with work, paying bills, and enjoying time without anything getting in the way. I find myself spending lots of time reading, playing xbl, and house cleaning. I really like to house clean >.<. I'm sure my room mate loves it as well.

I'm looking forward to 2 weddings left contracted with my business. After those two I'll be officially signed with Big Smile for contracted weddings. Well it's here. Summer. It's such a wonderful time for me. I absolutely love being an official "adult". Being a grown up was something I always looked forward to as a child. Working, making the dough, and keeping up with bills actually makes me happy! Crazy aren't I? I feel freedom like I've never felt before.

My job at Big Smile Photography has been wonderful. Although I don't have weddings this summer through them, I already have a few lined up next year! I hope they keep slinging them at me. I know this means a lot of traveling to KC, but I love it up there. Hopefully I won't look too slack jawed up in the big city. It never amazes me how many people can fit into one place.

I'll try to keep you guys updated at least once a month. Keep checking back and hopefully I'll add more of my work from the studio.
